Good day, friends! I recently had a wonderful LinkedIn Live author interview with the talented Michelle Mazzara, CEO and owner of Luv a Foodie. During our conversation, we discussed the inspiration behind my memoir, Cooking Inspired.
Many people initially thought I was writing a cookbook; however, that wasn’t my goal. As a writer, I felt compelled to share a message that could truly help people who feel stuck in their lives. This book aims to provide a relatable read, featuring a real-life storyline that offers valuable insights into recovery from addiction, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also sprinkle in some humor and hope throughout the narrative. As the author of Cooking Inspired, I spent many years formulating the direction I wanted the book to take. Eventually, everything came together in a memoir format. I wrote the stories and inspirational nuggets to be relatable to all readers.
Ultimately, we all have challenges that can set us back in life. When we seek to uplift ourselves, it’s essential to embrace every opportunity that offers valuable insights and a clear path to recovery. By doing so, we can confidently move forward toward brighter days ahead. It’s something we are all searching for in one way or another.
This is where the simple act of cooking can play a significant role! I practice what I preach, and I believe you will take away something positive from my interview with Michelle. I hope you’ll consider reading Cooking Inspired to learn more about its 30-year journey.
